ShriV.Thulasidas,S/o.the lateShriB.O. Velayudan and SmtBhagyam Thai was born on 24-09-1944 at Kanjiramkulam,Thiruvananthapuram.He did his school education at P.K.S HS, Kanjiramkulam, graduated from the University College,Trivandrum.Studied Law at Govt .Law College,Trivandrum and enrolled as an Advocate in the year 1968,practised law at Trivandrum District Courts.He joined Kerala Judicial Service as Judicial Magistrate of the Second Class on 23-8-1979 at Parapanangadi, promoted as Judicial Magistrate of theFirst Class, Kannur and served at Nedumangad ,Varkala and Alapuzha.He was promoted as Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thodupuzha. He also served as CJM, Kalpatta and thereafter he was posted as SubJudge ,Kollam.Addl.CJM (Economic Offences Court) Ernakulam and as CJM, Kollam.Later was promoted to the Kerala Higher Judicial Service as District and Sessions Judge and served as Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Perumbavoor.Thereafter served as Addl. District & Sessions Judge of the first Fast Track Court in Kerala at Kottyam.He retired from service on 30-9-2004 as Addl. District & Sessions Judge, (Fast Track Court I) Kottyam.

Nalukettu Padippura puthen Veedu

Its the name of my ancestral home and it is about 150 years old.Occasionlly I used to spent vacations with my beloved grandparents in this homestead.My grandfather Mr Boothakutty Othamen Velayudhan often affectionatly called by others by the petname Chellan Vaidiyar and grandma Bhagyam Thai resided here.My father Mr.V.Thulasidas was born and brought up here for sometime till he left the house along with his valiyappa(father's eldest brother called Mr. Boothakutty Othamen Stephen) and valiyamma(mother's elder sister named Bhagyam Lekshmi).
